The stomach bug has gone through 2 of my kids so far. It’s a waiting game now for the rest of us. My daughter had an elevated temp yesterday with an upset stomach. This was during a full day of academics, Lego club, and boys’ soccer practice. She woke up at midnight after hurling watermelon and chicken onto her white bedspread. The joys of parenting….
The plus side for me (selfishly) when my kids are fighting off a bug is it gets me out of taxi-driving. Is that wrong that I feel immediate satisfaction when I know I can now stay home and address dirty toilets and laundry mountains? We also slept in until 10:00-yah! Well, at least the bottom 2 and me. Hubby was up at 7:00 getting the older boys out the door for a lacrosse tournament and soccer festivals.
